Vicissitudes of awareness and denial
dynamics surging and halting
trust, a fragile thread running through
bit-by-bit-surge-halt

allowing her own path while
I keep presence in the background
more comfortable in my release
and self-rectification
we become more consistent and
not knowing where this path will lead
hope still lights our gingerly steps
while expectations shrink back
to the shift where gratitude is harkened.
