Someone has put a scarf on Ignatius

Frozen in a permanent step

Hunched forward

His robe flows being him in a bronze billow

The scarf is blue and grey and maroon with a white trim

Not white anymore

He's looking over the land from his pedestal

Much like I look out from this window to see him

His scarf waves in the dampe cold breeze.

Once in a while it slaps him.

He doesn't seem to mind.

His scarf waves in the damp cold breeze

His robe flows behind him in a bronze billow

Someone

  hunched forward

      not white anymore

        it slaps him

    frozen

      in a brazen step

has put

blue and grey and maroon with a white trim

     once in a while

A scarf

 his scarf

much as I look out this window

 like his pedestal

on Ignatius

   his robe

       he doesn't seem damp

I mind

   the permanent cold breeze.
