We live with dreams

and they appease

our troubled hearts.

We live with hope

that gives us light, and helps our survival

till tomorrow dawns.

If we let our dreams

become so unrealistic

that they burden and cloud reality,

dark shadows soon appear.

Out goes the light.

In the mirror now

we see the truth about ourselves.

We have forgotten that our will

is not always His;

That believing in Him

was the source of our light of hope.

He knows the truth and the plan;

He wants the best for us.

The truth is –

We are never alone

to wander, wonder, reach and dream.

With time and His help
