Old and full of days

what a Job!

richer through suffering than through joy

give God a chance!

there’s a universe beyond your ken

    little man!

do not kick or pout

put your hand out

close your eyes

you’re in for a surprise

fortunes turn, return

     big deal!

that puff of wind you feel

has something quiet to reveal

goodness falls like gravity

across the globe

its become a kind of law;

the starlings in the maples squawk–

that’s their job, not yours, Job.
