A sunburst in my head–

I hit the ground hard, bedazzled, confused

my Damascene mission cast aside

burning zealotry disused–

    Who are you anyhow?

my whole world’s filled up with your voice

can’t see your figure or your face

yet you enthral me– I’ve no choice–

   I surrender, unknown Lord

though what you want of me I cannot guess

my inner temple veil is rent in two–

Lead me- yes, Lord, yes.
