The Alpha and the Omega
At this time when we’re all weary of pandemic , a bit of Greek might offer an iota of consolation.
There are two “o”s in the Greek alphabet, the little “o” called omicron and the BIG “O” called OMEGA which is also the last letter.
We should be reminded of the climactic text from Book of Revelation where Christ sitting on the throne, asserts: “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.”[Rev 21:6]: omicron is passed over and swallowed up by OMEGA.
AMEN! COME LORD JESUS!

Posted at 02:57h, 28 JanuaryWhat to me and to you? Much to me and much to you. As we all struggle with the frustrations and the fears of this pandemic, it is good to keep a perspective on the little omicron and the huge Omicron. Jesus is the all in all, of now, and all time. Our worries and our irritations can be lessened as we think on the mystery and the wonder of Jesus’s existence in our little world and in eternity, everywhere.
