Holy Haste

Source: jrysalemtravel.com
Born out of
a clear sense of purpose
holy haste
is the gentle determination to achieve the call.

the Mother went in haste
to help her cousin
the Son later resolutely set out for Jerusalem
Both had holy haste and holy boldness.

joyful and forceful
performed without hesitation
without restraint
but passion and wholeheartedness.

strong
undivided enthusiasm
performing the action
understood as deeply meaningful.

holy haste is the soul
of the act that connects
with the big plan of God
hence the meaningful act par excellence.

it is ...
the pure fuel
of the unreserved
and undeterred will.

Never thought of the vocation of Jesus and his Mother in that way. Very creative and a challenge for us in our own vocation. Thanks.
