A January Morning Thought
And so O Lord you give me another day to meet you again in minutiae of morning routine: Early ablutions, prayer, raisin bran breakfast, Clearing snow, scraping ice from the windshield, A ‘morning’ nod to the man waiting for his ‘fix’ from the apartment ‘pusher’ across the street, Hoping for all lights to green, the drive up Maryland, Stafford to Corydon street All to offer Mass at Saint Ignatius once again, yes, Lord, where You are each day happily the same.
