Resilience in a time of pandemic: A meditation for young professionals [Webinar]

On 8 April, Fr John O’Brien, SJ, gave a talk entitled Resilience in a time of pandemic: A meditation for young professionals. More than a year after the onset of the pandemic, this presentation was very timely.

Fr. O’Brien presented some insights from the Ignatian tradition on how to care for the soul as well as the body. He articulated his ideas around the ultimate purpose of our lives: to praise, respect and serve God and neighbour. He proposed, for example, to limit the time we spend on entertainment systems and replace these moments with prayer, meditation, art or altruistic deeds.
