After doing time in Leavenworth -- at University of Saint Mary, that is -- Damian became a theatre artist in his hometown of Kansas City (the Missouri side) and Chicago — mostly playwriting, but dabbling in acting and directing as well. Damian is an avid belter of showtunes in the shower, performer of personal concerts in the car, writer, prayer partner, advocate of social justice, and spiritual director. He currently plays the role of audience development and outreach coordinator at the University of Detroit Mercy Theatre Company.
