While the American election received much attention on the media these past weeks, for those associated with the Knights of Columbus an even more important event was the beatification of its founder.- Michael McGivney.
For them that far surpasses any other thing. What a wonderful celebration of hope! The beatification is a light for the hearts of those who may be despondent about politics and pandemics.

It is long but the beauty of the cathedral, the music, the liturgy, the image of youthful Blessed Michael unveiled, the poignant scene of little Mikie bringing the reliquary with his family to present it to the cardinal all make it a moving and wonderful experience.
