Psalm 128

Source: lavistachurchofchrist.org
Happy hands, those that clap for God
Happy feet, those that walk his way.
You’ll dig all God does.
You’ll catch yourself grinning
You’ll learn to whistle.
Your house will stand more homey.
More friends will drop by.
Perhaps you’ll take up woodworking
to make a bigger kitchen table.

It’s not like you’ll never worry,
never stub your toe,
never have a bad hair day,
but the collateral blessings will enlarge
your laughter.

Yes, you’ll laugh it off
quite faithfully, even as it hurts.
You’ll see good multiply.
Peace and love!
