Climate change: a nursery rhyme

Source: margaretmcateeer.blogspost.com
once more
the door
is shown
to grown
women
and men

but still
they will
refuse
to choose
to grasp
the task
at hand.

They stand
unmoved
while roofs
descend
on heads
to come.

This home
and house
is out
of hope.

We hope
once more
the door
is shown
to grown
women
and men
who find
the time
to move
outside
alive.

To move
outside
alive.

To move
outside.
To change.
