Magnificat (Luke 46-55)
My soul, that sacred spark, unknown to social media, sings of a magnanimity that corporate capitalism cannot crush. From this day forward I'm siding with those coming; all generations will call me cool for turning coats against the dumb thugs of climate change. For God has done great things for me: -a mind inclined towards community, -a heart that syncopates with others -a will alive to good, hard work... these the gifts I continue to open And God does great things by us! She bans smoking in public places. She pushes human right to overflowing onto other creatures. She takes the sheen off our plastic idols. She stirs a hunger for plant-based foods. She draws us here together tonight into this precious constellation speaking light in the shadow of her wings. it's a shining conversation we inherit and bequeath.
